My mission is to spark the hearts of every person to experience the wholeness, vitality, and serenity that comes from inner confidence - deeply knowing yourself, fully accepting the lightness and darkness of being human, and living freely from your true self.
I've focussed on deepening my own inner confidence with a sense of passion and purpose throughout my adult life. Along with a one-on-one, individualized approach, I"ve greatly benefited from the loving support of like-minded people on a similar path of personal growth and transformation. Prior to coaching, I was part of a personal growth group that had a significant impact on expanding the way I saw my world, my ability to connect with others, and how I saw myself. Many in this group are still part of my life today, twenty-five years later.
Through my coaching training, I loved being part of a community of people who supported one another in growing both personally and professionally. It was due to this level of support that I was able to navigate my way through a life-changing transition, my divorce, with relative ease and grace. I became clear about what I envisioned for myself because I had the opportunity to explore who I was and what I truly wanted out loud in a loving and accepting place, particularly with my leadership training group led by The Coaches Training Institute in California.
Professionally, I led groups as a teacher in the educational system that included all ages from kindergarten to post-graduate, university students. Presenting to teachers and administrators, I led workshops on such topics as stress management, self-esteem, and the process of change.
In private practice during the evenings while I taught during the day, I led groups on the enhancement of parenting skills as well as personal growth groups with a therapeutic focus. As a coach, I lead retreats in Canada and the United States. Inner confidence has been and continues to be the foundational theme of all of my group work.
I strongly believe in the power of the group process. I know from personal and professional experience that the opportunity to share wisdom and support is priceless, especially in times of transition. To witness and be witnessed without judgment uncovers what is beneath the masks that we can all wear in our various roles.
As a certified professional coach,currently residing in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, I am delighted and honored to continue to lead groups which I now call Coaching Circles on all aspects of my Claim Your Life as Your Own process. In all that I do, I take a stand for inner confidence. I understand how central a part it plays in creating a healthy, harmonious, productive, joyful, and fulfilling life, one that is grounded in the sacred.
